"Unfortunately, this time I experienced a few issues with the room. The tap was clogged and, after it was repaired, the sink became clogged as well. The door was also partly broken and had to be pushed very hard to close properly. As a business traveler, I usually have breakfast early in the morning. At 6:00 a.m., however, the breakfast room was already crowded with a large group of very noisy tourists, which made the experience less pleasant. Despite these inconveniences, our stay overall was still pleasant."

I was given a Nile River view room on the 8th floor, but it wasn't a full river view, just a partial one, which was a bit disappointing. Also, for business trips, I'd recommend staying in the new area, as the city traffic is really bad."

"In stark contrast to the chaotic and noisy Old Cairo, this hotel felt like a peaceful oasis! They were very prompt in changing our room after we mentioned a smoke smell. The hotel has a Chinese restaurant, which is great for those who aren't used to Egyptian cuisine – just make sure to book in advance. Breakfast was also delicious, with a wide variety of options and excellent service. The security check with sniffer dogs at the entrance for all vehicles entering and exiting also made us feel very safe."
